There is nothing more satisfying than to see a need and fulfill that need. What does it take to fulfill a need? It takes, compassion, caring, and willingness driven by love. I still like to think that love makes the world go round. Even in these times, with all the pressures of the world, love is what makes the world of Ability Counts and the Friends organization go round.
Twenty years of commitment to a population of people with a high level of needs have been enhanced by the Friends of Ability Counts Fundraising Organization. Our goal is to improve the work environment for the people we serve and to do so it takes an out stretched hand, not in asking but in giving.
There are two kinds of people in this world, takers and givers. I want to be a giver, a giver of my time, my expertise, and my finances. I want to give Love and when I do I know that I will reap love. in return.
The Friends Fundraising Organization has been successfully operating since November of 2003. What we have set out to do is taking place today and will continue because the need is great. The out come is visible, appreciation is in the air and Ability Counts is the best place to be for the special people of the world.
